When learning about spam laws, one should familiarize themselves with the act that was signed in the year 2003 by the Former President of the United States, George W. Bush. The official name for the spam laws that are contained within the Act is called the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. That is the most popular reference abbreviation, but the full name of the set of spam laws is called the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing Act of 2003. Many were happy that the President of the United States had composed this new set of spam laws. And when I say that many were happy that the President had composed this set of spam laws, I mean, spammers- that’s right, many spammers were happy that President W. Bush had composed these news spam laws. The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 permits most acts of e-mail spam under the protection of the spam laws.

1. Under the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, the spam laws give people the right to send e-mail message to others without having to obtain their position. The spam laws within the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 state that one does not have to get the approval from every person that they decide to e-mail. This aspect of the spam laws is a great plus for spammers. On the other hand, there were people that were disappointed about this notion. They were hoping that the new spam laws would provide further protection in this regard. Many find spam to be quite annoying and want to anything to avoid it. They find the spam filters not to be very effective at all. They were looking to the new spam laws of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 as a way out, but for many, that was not provided for them in the new spam laws.

2. Under the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, the spam laws also prevents the states from making stricter anti-spam laws. The spam laws say that the individual states can not enforce stricter spam laws in their governing jurisdictions. Although this may have been an ideal scenario for marketing spammers, this was a big hit to those that are highly against spam. This made many quite upset with the new set of spam laws that President George W. Bush had passed in 2003 with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Many have challenged the new spam laws of 2003, but there has not been much progress made in that regard up to this point.

The Federal Anti Spam Laws are very clear about what is not acceptable when it comes to email spam. The Federal Anti Spam Laws lists very distinct specifications as to how one can avoid illegally partaking in email spamming. If you want to avoid any legal trouble by violation of the Federal Anti Spam Laws, it is important that you read up on the governing policies of the practice before you begin this type of activity. Email marketing campaigns are so popular in today’s society as an ideal marketing tool, so much so that before you begin the practice, even once, you should familiarize yourself with the email spam laws. Believe it or not, there is a way that you can legitimately take on your email marketing campaign, and still be in no violation of the email spam laws. Of course, these concepts are so complex about the email spam laws, so in today’s society it is not unlikely for someone to try another party for violation of the Federal Anti Spam Laws, so it is advised that you avoid this possibility. On the other hand, the Federal Anti Spam Laws are always going to hold up in a court of law. Only if it is proven that you were actually in violation of the email spam laws are you most subject to incur the harshest penalties. Either way, it is important that you study that email spam laws before you begin mass email marketing. Nevertheless, this is only the tip of the iceberg of what the email spam laws says is a requirement as to not be in violation of the Federal Anti Spam Laws.

1. The Federal Anti Spam Laws state that part of the criteria that will avoid you from being in violation of the email spam laws is to make sure that your email message contains a very clear indication of the message that you are intending to send if it is an advertisement. The email spam laws state that you must make the email clear that it is an advertisement if it is. However, the email spam laws does not restrict that indication to have to be displayed in the subject line. Nevertheless, it must be clear at some point throughout the email message.

2. Another requirement of the Federal Anti Spam Laws states that you must give the recipient of the email messages the option for the email messages to stop. This means that you have to offer them their right to unsubscribe or to be removed from your spam mailing list.

3. The Federal Anti Spam Laws also state that you must indicate in the email message who the sender is. The email spam laws says that this also must be done at some point throughout the email message to not be in potential violation of the email anti spam laws.
